Weddings are deeply personal, yet public. Charged with romance, intimacy, excitement, vulnerability, and the power of a life-long commitment. Shared moments that are fleeting, yet packed with meaning, and experienced differently by everyone present. For me, the art of photography is to see those moments, and to richly capture something of their beauty in a way that echos their meaning every time you look at them.

Dashes of colour, fleeting glances, and moody light are my real tools, while the cameras give me the means to be there and capture it. What I come away with is my raw material - raw files - raw glimpses of moments that need to be carefully shaped to have their mood and nuance conveyed in their colour and tone.

Quality
Much like the effort that goes into capturing those moments creatively, or creating a moment that captivates the viewer, the quality of my finished work is equally important. To create the best "digital negative" to work from, I use the most versatile professional digital cameras and superb lenses wherever possible, and capture images in RAW mode. After basic conversion of my raw files to catalogue images for my clients to select from, I begin the real work of editing my images for colour, sharpness, softness, selective contrast, saturation, black and white tones, and various techniques to create the mood I want to show in the images selected. I provide a range of options of printed media, including traditional chemical printing through to carbon based pigment prints on various fine art cotton papers.

Packages & Pricing
Art and quality should never be valued primarily in terms of numbers of prints and a price tag, but rather by how you feel about the images and the experience. I encourage you to view my galleries and range of packages on this site as a starting point for you to discuss your vision and customise a package when we meet at my studio and review my printed work and the options available to you.

Albums
Displaying your images in a professionally compiled high quality leather bound album makes a huge difference to the presentation of your wedding photographs. Choose from our traditional Leather albums as well as our top quality Designer Albums in leather and true photographic materials, which allow for beautifully creative custom layouts and artwork. For the artistically adventurous, we do give the option of packages without one of our albums.
