If a picture can inspire or move someone, or make them think, it is has the impact many artists long to achieve with their work.

This is one of the most rewarding challenges of my work: both for me as the artist, and for my clients who want something special and emotionally moving in an image of themselves or perhaps of their loved ones.

Many of my emotive photography clients have an inherent artistic appreciation, and are looking for something deeper in an image than a good classical portrait or trendy and stylish fashion type of image.

Some people enjoy having something special about themselves to keep in a personal album. Some like to give them to loved ones as an unusual and artistically unique gift.

The experience of working with me to create something special is art in itself: it involves your senses and emotions while planning and making the image with me, as well as the art work that goes into shaping the image digitally after the shoot.

Many of my works are not published on the internet due to the personal nature of such projects, but where possible, I have kept a number of printed works in my studio for show to people who are interested in working with me to have their own expressive images crafted.
