I'm a full time professional photographer with a passion for people and artistic expression.

My current art exhibition, "Twilight of the Soul - the Awakening", is a set of black and white figure study prints exploring the turmoil and desire for peace that so many of us battle with in our fast paced digitally driven world. The prints are made using carbon based pigments on Hahnemühle German Etching, a 100% cotton textured paper.

My wedding photography carries a story telling slant, combining elements of scenic, architectural, romantic, and impressionist styles.

In 2002 I switched to digital photography, as it has a lot in common with my black and white darkroom work, allowing me tremendous creative freedom in styling my images. I now shoot almost exclusively with digital cameras, with the exception of some of my fine art exhibition work which is still shot on 6x7cm black and white negatives.

I use my studio's versatile lighting system primarily for beauty, fashion, fine art, and product photography, as well as portraiture.

A browse through my galleries under the various sections above will give you an idea of my work, with the exception of my product and advertising photography which I do for a small number of commercial clients, and my fine art work which I reserve for print exhibitions.
